About Jason Patrick Jenkins

Jason Patrick Jenkins

Canadian Jason Patrick Jenkins is a passionate and dedicated artist committed to the school of Contemporary Classical Realism. Born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada, he began his studies with a 4-year Bachelor’s in Fine Art from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2001, and more recently added 4 more years of study in the Advanced Fine Art Program of Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia, where he currently holds a position on faculty. He also holds a position on faculty at the Wayne Art Center and the Abington Art Center. He has independently studied Glazing, Alla Prima painting, and The Dutch (or Flemish) Method. He has worked with grids, projectors, and transfers utilizing photo references, but his preferred method is free hand,...
